Irma Lind was an active breeder for more than 30 years. She got her forst yorkie in 1961. Kennel offa's first litter was born in 1967. She started her breeding with dogs from the kennels Margaretha and Strerling. One of the most famous bitches was Nord Ch. Margarethas Viveka. Viveka is behind many of the top winning yorkies, among others she is the mother of Int Nord Ch. Offa's Rebecca. With Nord Ch. Ozmilion Fortune Hunter, Viveka gave Int Nord Ch. Offa's Jens. He was the top winning male 1978, BOS at the Swedish speciality show in 1977 and 1978. Jens sired among others winning offspring Int Nord Ch. Offa's Alex. Both Int Nord Ch. Offa's Cinderella and Int Nord Ch. Offa's Herman where groupplaced and Herman had a big inpact on the kennels breeding. Kennel Offa was hold the breed record for 1978.

When Irma Lind died in 1992 the kennel namne was inherited by Marie Jansson (now Eriksson) and Berith Berkegård. Marie started as kennel help for Irma in 1973 and got her first yorkie, who later became Int Nord Ch. Offa's Rebecca in 1974. Beriths first yorkie was Charming Chap, born in 1972. In the 70's Berith also imported Middestellans Le Bien Amie from England, who later became a norwegian and swedish champion.

Kennel Offa has bred many champions, several is Int Nord Ch. Int Nord Ch Offa's Lorenzo (born in 1996) was 1999 Best In Show at the swedish speciality show, judged by Les Griffiths (kennel Beechrise). Lorenzo is by Ch. Debonaires Believe In Music and Offa's Claudia. Lorenzo had a very succesful career as a veteran. He won several BIS-veteran at the swedish kennelclubs shows. Lorenzo was twice qualified to the glorious "veteran of veterans" show in grand hotel in stockholm.

Maries two daughters, Ellinore and Emelie Jansson, have gradually been introduced and involved in to the kennel, by showing dogs and introduce new bloodlines. In recent, dogs from the well known kennel Pearlstring have been introduced in the breeding program.

In 2010 the kennel was inherited by Emelie and Ellinore.
